Privacy Policy

Overview

Vector Breach is developed by Longneck Studios (Christopher Cooper). The game is designed to work without a Longneck Studios account, and game progress is stored locally unless you enable a platform cloud service.

Website data

When you download a build, the website records only the build type, target platform, and time of download. It does not store your IP address, a hash of your IP address, browser user agent, or referring page in the analytics database. Aggregate download events are automatically deleted after 90 days.

The protected playtest area uses one strictly necessary authentication cookie. It contains a keyed verification value, not your password or identity, expires after 12 hours, and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Hosting and network providers may process short-lived connection information such as IP addresses as necessary to deliver and secure the site.

Game and platform services

Vector Breach does not send gameplay data or personal identifiers to Longneck Studios by default. If you choose Steam, Apple Game Center, Google Play Games, platform cloud saves, or another storefront service, that provider processes data under its own privacy terms. LAN multiplayer communicates directly with devices you choose on your local network.

Diagnostics

Diagnostic logs are stored locally. A remote logging destination is used only when you explicitly configure one; the operator of that destination is responsible for its handling. Do not include personal information in custom diagnostic destinations or shared logs.

Children, retention, and requests

The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Longneck Studios does not maintain website user accounts or persistent website identifiers, it generally cannot associate aggregate download records with an individual.
